Ivanhoe: A Romance Book Spread
In my second year of college in my Information Design class, I learned how to manipulate existing types and add graphics and a theme to make a book spread more engaging. This is what I did with two pages from a chapter of the original Ivanhoe: A Romance Book. I added imagery relevant to the book and rose graphics on the edges to emphasize romance. I also changed the font of the original text to adhere to a more easier-to-read type. The Chapter 1 page has more of the pink theme I started to adhere to the idea of romance. I also played with font warping.
